How to use a Righthand with Close
Create a Close opportunity review with lead and opportunity IDs, status mappings, value periods, and checked owner questions.
Review opportunities without blending their values
Righthand can help prepare a Close opportunity review for a selected pipeline. The useful output ties each question to an opportunity and its lead. It should preserve the meaning of monetary values, because one-time, monthly, and annual values should not be added together into an unexplained total.
Close's opportunity reference describes leadid, statusid, userid, value, valueperiod, and related opportunity data. Keep the value period and currency context with the amount. A formatted number alone is not enough for a meaningful pipeline comparison.
Define the pipeline and source coverage
Give the organization, pipeline or approved opportunity list, included status types, and the mapping for owners and status labels. For an illustrative renewal queue, focus on active opportunities whose supplied notes leave the next decision unclear.
Check Close's available tools through integrations. If opportunities or related activity reads are absent, provide an approved export or authorize a browser review. Do not infer calling, emailing, or status-changing authority from the existence of a CRM connection.
A complete worked brief
At 1 PM America/Los_Angeles on Wednesday, review active opportunities in the approved Close pipeline. Produce a private decision queue with opportunity ID, lead ID, source link, mapped status, explicit owner, value and value period, and accessible next-step notes. Keep currency and period groups separate. Flag unresolved contact matches and missing evidence. Do not call, email, change status, or edit values. Send to me for sales-lead review and reconcile the opportunity count and selected filters.
This example is illustrative. A confidence value is recorded sales information, not an independently verified prediction. Report it only when relevant and present in the source.
Define the result the owner can check
An example entry could say: “Opportunity linked to Lead A; active status; annual value period; note asks for procurement confirmation; owner must confirm the next action.” The assistant should not annualize or compare values without explaining the source representation and business rule.
A lead may have several opportunities. Keep their separate IDs and periods rather than treating them as duplicates because they share a company name. An opportunity's contact link should be verified before any proposed external follow-up identifies a recipient.
Reconcile activity and changed records
On repeat runs, match opportunity IDs, refresh status and value information, and update the same decision entry. Missing activity evidence should remain unavailable, not become a claim that the rep has not communicated.
Permissions, pagination, and stale exports can affect coverage. State those limits with the snapshot time. If supported updates are later approved, apply exact changes and reread the opportunity fields; separately verify any intended activity or communication result.
Set connection rules through Righthand's permissions guide. Review pricing for recurring sales preparation and keep the sales lead accountable for commercial decisions.
